Commencement Candids Class of 2016!
Hats off to the Class of 2016! Proud families, friends and teachers converged on the Prep campus today for the 106th Commencement exercises at St. John's. At the end of the ceremony, the 288 seniors from 61 different cities and towns tossed their caps in the air. Navy blue robes then gradually dispersed into the waiting crowd for warm hugs, hearty handshakes and plenty of snapshots. Among those recognized during the ceremony was Mike Kennealy '86, the 2016 Distinguished Alumnus, and members of the 50th reunion Class of 1966. The program included heartfelt reflections from student speakers, a stirring remarks from English teacher Eric Kimble '85, and a closing exhortation from Headmaster Hardiman. "We believe in you," he said. "We look forward to the good, visionary and courageous things you will accomplish, and we pray that your belief in others will inspire them to achieve in the same way that you have achieved here." We will share more photos when we receive shots from Lifetouch as well, so please check back!Read More
